ACM Student Chapter, USICT is an official student body incepted in 2019 under the University School USICT, GGSIPU. The chapter will conduct events including programming contests, talks by renowned speakers, workshops etc.which give the students an exposure to the competitive computing world as well as allow them to understand the advancements going on in the computing sphere worldwide.


We see a world where computing helps solve tomorrow’s problems – where we use our knowledge and skills to advance the profession and make a positive impact. Our team help college students develop their technical as well as non-technical skills through regularly organising Seminars, workshops and competitions of various domains.


We, at The ACM Chapter USICT, are missioned with a common goal to inculcate the spirit of technology among young minds and become a pathway towards ACM India's development, for India to emerge as the supernation in the coming years. With an aim to make students updated with advancements in computing sphere, the chapter in its glorious one and half years of existence, has now created its unique.

ACM Foundation Day

13th September 2020

ACM USICT Student Chapter is celebrating ACM Foundation Day on 13th September 2020. The event will be inaugurated by Prof. Jayant Haritsa, President, ACM India Council and Professor at IISc Banglore & will be presided by Prof Arvinder Kaur, Dean, USICT.

The theme for the Event is "ATMA NIRBHAR BHARAT"
We bring you the following events:
1. TECH TALK: Share your opinion about " ATMA NIRBHAR BHARAT" & "VOCAL FOR LOCAL". Time Limit: 4 min + 1 min for follow up Questions You may give a speech or may use PPT slides along with as well
2. DRAWING COMPETITION: Unleash your creativity on your canvas! Time: 1-2 mins for explaining the drawing
3. ONLINE QUIZ: Online Technical Quiz Competition focusing on "Vocal for Local".

Turing Workshop

ACM USICT organises a series of workshop each year, named after renowned Computer Scientist Alan Turing. It focusses on acquainting the students and researchers with the latest technologies of the computing world like cloud computing, machine learning, etc
It witnesses speakers of national and international repute

School Awareness Program

The Program aims at making school students of the secondary level aware about various fields and opportunities in the computer science world. We will also be explaining various technology stacks in front of them like Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Competitive Programming, Web and App Development.
